Six foreign oil workers who had been kidnapped from a Nigerian nightclub were released after 10 days in captivity, authorities said.
An American, two Britons, a German, an Irishman and a Pole were abducted at gunpoint Aug. 13 in the southern oil city of Port Harcourt. The release means that only one Lebanese construction worker is still being held out of 17 mostly foreign oil workers seized this month in seven separate kidnappings.
