Update -- The Avengers, who have lost four games in a row, all on the road, trail Chicago by one game for the American Conference’s final playoff spot. They haven’t played at Staples Center since a 60-57 victory over the Colorado Crush on March 19. The Avengers finish the season with four consecutive home games. The Dragons are coming off a 64-57 victory over the Columbus Destroyers in which Nick Browder threw two late touchdown passes to Mike Horacek. Browder completed 31 of 46 passes for 387 yards and seven touchdowns, including four to Horacek, who had 10 receptions for 158 yards. Ken Swayne had nine catches for 146 yards and two scores.
