Final Skylark Rocket Is Launched Into Space

British scientists launched the 441st and final Skylark rocket Monday, nearly half a century after it helped start the space race.
The rocket was fired from Sweden, 47 years after the first Skylark mission. Skylarks, which cost $5.7 million to $9.5 million each, have been used to carry a variety of things into space, including crystals and frog eggs.
