Re “A Pastor Is Shot and a Congregation Mourns,” May 4: A well-to-do American community thinks a bride has been kidnapped and the whole nation hears about it for weeks. A 70-year-old assistant pastor is gunned down in an underprivileged neighborhood and nobody outside of Los Angeles will ever know the story. This country’s network news divisions are truly a disgrace.
