Loss Narrows at Website Operator Homestore

Homestore Inc., a Westlake Village-based operator of real estate-related websites, said its first-quarter loss narrowed to $395,000, or breakeven on a per-share basis, compared with a loss of $5.1 million, or 4 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 6% to $56.5 million.
