Russian Heritage Celebration: Mission San Juan Capistrano will present its annual celebration from noon to 5 p.m. The event will feature Russian entertainment, folk song and dance, food, displays and artists. Free with admission to mission. Information: (949) 234-1321.
Nature Tour: Newport Bay Naturalists and Friends offer a walking tour of Back Bay in Newport Beach. The tour covers about a mile of the upper bay. Tours start every 15 minutes from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Free. Tours begin at East Bluff Drive and Back Bay Road. Information: (949) 786-8878.
