Fire Officials Attempt to Flush Out Toilet Torcher

West Sacramento fire officials are investigating a three-year crime spree unlike any other they’ve seen before: Someone is setting portable toilets on fire.
In the past three years, about two dozen portable toilets near the Sacramento River or at construction sites have been set ablaze. “It’s very odd,” Fire Chief Fred Postel said. “It’s beyond my comprehension why anybody would do this.”
