Hearing to Discuss Plan for Higher Sewer Rates

The City Council will hold a public hearing Feb. 2 on a plan to hike sewer rates to meet expenses and comply with rules in the settlement of a lawsuit.
A typical single-family household pays $21 per month. The plan calls for rates to grow about $1.75 per year for five years.
