Part of Beach Closed After Sewage Spill

A 150-gallon sewage spill prompted a beach closure near Bluebird Canyon, county health officials said Friday.
Waters within 50 feet of the Bluebird Canyon projection were closed late Thursday after a residential sewer blocked by tree roots ruptured. The beach was cited for poor water quality Wednesday, the Orange County Health Care Agency said. The beach could reopen today.
