Militants Postpone Killing 3 U.N. Hostages

Militants claiming to hold three United Nations hostages in Afghanistan moved back a deadline for carrying out their threat to kill the trio, giving U.N. and Afghan officials until tonight to open negotiations.
Taliban splinter group Jaish al Muslimeen has demanded the withdrawal of the U.N. from Afghanistan and the release of Taliban prisoners held in Afghanistan and at the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
