Death Row Inmate Found Hanging in Cell

A death row inmate was found hanging by a sheet in his cell in an apparent suicide, state prison officials said in Houston.
Efforts to resuscitate Deon Tumblin, 27, failed and he was pronounced dead in the prison infirmary.
Tumblin had been condemned for strangling a 75-year-old woman at her home in 2000, then taking her car.
