5 Shot After Woman Is Ejected From Party

Five people were shot at an all-female party Sunday morning during a fight that erupted after one woman was kicked out, police said.

The victims, who were not seriously injured, were taken to a local hospital, said Officer Eduardo Funes, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

The woman who had been ejected from the party in the 1200 block of East 50th Street returned with her mother and another woman, Funes said.

One of the three women opened fire on the partygoers about 3:15 a.m., he said. The assailants fled, and no arrests have been made, Funes said.
