A teenage boy caught on videotape at a convenience store apparently touching a woman inappropriately has been eliminated by Costa Mesa police as a suspect in a series of sexual attacks on Victoria Street.
The tape shows a 14-year-old boy apparently touching a woman in her 20s as she bought an item May 5, Lt. John FitzPatrick said.
When questioned by police, the teen said he had only pushed the woman, who did not press charges.
FitzPatrick said the incident was unrelated to a rash of groping attacks on Victoria Street since December.
