No Copters at Tourist Spots Without Heliports

The Napa County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to ban helicopters from landing at wineries and other tourist locations, except those with heliports.
The board voted 5 to 0 Tuesday to approve an ordinance that has gone through several changes in recent months.
Pilot Wayne Lackey has been at the center of a controversy since residents near Calistoga protested last year after a winery owner proposed having Lackey’s helicopter business shuttle tourists to a Diamond Mountain winery.
