Al Qaeda Is ‘Broken,’ Pakistani Leader Says

President Pervez Musharraf said after talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London that his security forces had destroyed Al Qaeda’s command structure in Pakistan.
Musharraf said his forces had “broken the back” of the network. The two leaders pledged continued cooperation against terrorism, stressing the need to tackle extremism’s root causes.
