Two San Fernando Valley men were charged Monday with attempted murder in connection with the Sept. 9 drive-by shooting that seriously wounded three Taft High School students, the district attorney’s office said.
Terry Boyd Taylor and Kristopher James Govea, both 20, also were charged with aggravated mayhem and gun and gang crimes. They are being held on $2-million bail and could be sentenced to life if convicted. Charges have not been filed against a third man, Jeffrey Trinell Young, 21, who police said is also a suspect in the shooting.
Taylor and Young turned themselves in on Friday. Govea was arrested Thursday.
