First-rate ‘Third’
Your latest review of the new TV season (Sept. 14) failed to mention one of my favorites: “Third Watch.” The writing is real and edgy, and the story lines are ripped from today’s news. The direction is pitch perfect and the actors and crew are consistently terrific, week after week. No need to “tinker” with it like some of the other shows that get so much publicity (i.e. “The Practice” and “The West Wing”). “Third Watch” started with a winning formula and it continues.
