Police Chief Moose Signs Deal for Book on Snipers

Charles Moose, the police chief thrust into the media spotlight during last fall’s sniper shooting spree around the U.S. capital, has signed a book deal, publisher Dutton Books said Thursday.
The book, “Three Weeks in October: The Manhunt for the D.C. Sniper,” will be published this fall by Dutton, pending approval by a state government ethics committee.
Moose heads the police department in Montgomery County.
