Coroner Seeks Aid in Identifying Dead Man

The Orange County coroner’s office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who died Saturday.
The body of the man -- white or Latino, 45 to 65, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 118 pounds with brown or gray hair and a beard -- was found unconscious about 7:40 p.m. Dec. 26 near the intersection of West Kimberly and South Placentia avenues. He is believed to have been homeless. He had many tattoos, including one of a ship with the words “Homeward Bound,” one of an anchor and the words “U.S. Coast Guard.”
