Supervisors Delay Action on Pay Raises

Ventura County supervisors have put off a decision on pay raises for employees in the health care and human services agencies after one of the supervisors questioned whether the county could afford it.
Early estimates show that the proposed higher pay would raise labor costs $215,900 a year.
