From Times Staff Reports
Sentencing was postponed Tuesday for Rocky Mattley, a 15-year-old Ventura boy convicted in March of second-degree murder in the beating death of a homeless man near Surfers Point.
Judge John E. Dobroth said he wants more information about sentencing options, and that he will hear expert testimony on the matter May 30. Mattley, who was tried in Juvenile Court, could be ordered to serve his sentence at the California Youth Authority or at a group home facility.
