Man Pleads Not Guilty to Threatening Couple

A 44-year-old man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he threatened to kill an Iranian couple in the days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Steven James McManus has been charged with two felony counts of making a criminal threat with hate crime attachments.
Prosecutors allege that he threatened to kill the couple Sept. 23. The man and woman, 77 and 74, have not been identified.
