Computer Sciences Wins Navy Network Contract

Computer Sciences Corp., the third-biggest U.S. computer-services company, will provide technical services for the Navy under a five-year contract worth as much as $38 million.
El Segundo-based Computer Sciences will develop and maintain Web software and provide computer-network security, help-desk operations, training and project management for the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego, spokesman Charlie Greenwald said.
About 60 Computer Sciences’ employees will be involved in the work, the company said.
If all options are exercised, the contract would be valued at $38 million, Greenwald said.
Shares of Computer Sciences rose 5 cents to $39.20 on the New York Stock Exchange.
