Driver Killed When Car Hit by Sanitation Truck

A 51-year-old man was killed Wednesday morning when a city sanitation truck slammed into his vehicle, authorities said.
Kyung Eop Lee was driving east on Burbank Boulevard about 6:10 a.m. when the truck, traveling south on Fulton Avenue, crashed into the driver’s side of Lee’s 1998 Hyundai Sonata. Lee was dead at the scene, Los Angeles Police Officer Danielle Lee said.
