Chicago Exchanges Remain Closed Today

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Chicago Stock Exchange issued a joint statement that no trading will take place today in their auction-style trading pits or electronic systems. The Kansas City Board of Trade and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange also will be closed.
CME spokeswoman Ellen Resnick declined to say how long the exchanges will remain closed.
