Bjork’s ‘Vespertine’a Local Hit

Bjork, considered by many to be the Icelandic Queen of Electronic Dance Pop, enters the album charts this week with her new album, “Vespertine.” Her upcoming small-scale national tour makes a stop at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Oct. 22. This sold-out event may be one of the reasons for her local chart success. Her album charts at No. 7 locally and enters the double digits at No. 19 on the national charts.
