RCA isn’t a subsidiary of GE or anyone else (Puzzler, Sept. 30), nor is it any longer a corporation.
Although originally the initials of the Radio Corp. of America, RCA is now merely a trademark shared by two European companies: the manufacturer Thomson Industries for appliances such as television sets, and the publisher Bertelsmann for recordings.
