Vancouver 4, Pittsburgh 1--Former Penguin Markus Naslund scored twice and Trevor Linden had three assists as the Canucks won for the first time in Pittsburgh in nearly 13 years.
The Canucks were 0-10-1 with nine consecutive losses in Pittsburgh since winning 7-5 on Jan. 5, 1989.
Naslund has six goals and eight points in nine games against the Penguins.
Detroit 1, Columbus 0--Luc Robitaille’s blast from the right wing with 42.4 seconds left in overtime lifted the Red Wings at Columbus, Ohio.
Manny Legace had 38 saves in recording his first shutout and improved to 6-0 this season.
Carolina 4, Dallas 4--Bates Battaglia’s goal with 1:50 remaining in regulation helped Carolina tie the Stars at Dallas.
Erik Cole had a goal and two assists for Carolina, 8-4-3 in its last 15 games.
Buffalo 4, Toronto 2--J.P. Dumont had a goal and two assists, and Martin Biron made 25 saves at Buffalo as the Sabres broke a four-game losing streak.
Washington 3, Tampa Bay 2--Jaromir Jagr appeared back at full speed with a goal and two assists, but the Capitals needed Ulf Dahlen’s goal with 3:58 remaining for a victory at Washington.
Nashville 4, Chicago 3--David Legwand scored the winning goal with 12 seconds left and had an assist at Nashville.
Minnesota 2, San Jose 0--Goalie Manny Fernandez broke out of his slump, recording 22 saves for the Wild at San Jose.

Montreal traded left wings Martin Rucinsky and Benoit Brunet to Dallas for right wing Donald Audette and center Shaun Van Allen. The Stars also traded 35-year-old defenseman Jyrki Lumme to Toronto for Dave Manson, hours after Lumme cleared waivers and was assigned to Utah of the American Hockey League.... Vancouver forward Trent Klatt will not play during the team’s current six-game road trip because of an abdominal injury.... Phoenix defenseman Todd Simpson will be out of the lineup for at least three weeks after breaking a bone in his foot while blocking a shot.
