Questionable Lawsuit

“Judge to Rule on Suit Over Shooting” (Nov. 19) reports on the lawsuit brought against the North Valley Jewish Community Center by the parents of a boy severely wounded by a racist gunman two years ago.
The rationale for the suit is that the officials should have known that the facility “was a target for anti-Semitic attacks.” By the same token, these concerned and supposedly informed parents should have known that such an eventuality existed and therefore should not have placed their child in harm’s way. What hypocrisy!
