Model Shipbuilders’ New Works on Display

More than 40 new ship models from Southern California’s most active builders are on display at the Ventura County Maritime Museum.
The exhibit is the result of a combined effort of the museum’s Model Guild and the Ship Modelers Assn. of Southern California. The models represent historic warships, merchant vessels and other watercraft.
Each weekend until May 31 when the exhibit closes, model-building demonstrations will be offered.
The Maritime Museum is at 2731 S. Victoria Ave., Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard. Admission is free. For information, call 984-6260.
