The sunken Kursk nuclear submarine will be raised in a three-month operation, tentatively set to begin in late July, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Ilya I. Klebanov said.
Russia and the Dutch and Norwegian firms taking part in the operation are to sign an agreement Sunday in St. Petersburg.
The Kursk sank in the Barents Sea last summer, killing all 118 crewmen. Russian experts say raising it could cost $80 million.
Two nuclear reactors and 22 missiles are on the 14,000-ton sub, 356 feet below the surface.
