Man Returns Home Decade After War

A Croatian missing since the 1991 war has returned home after nearly a decade in captivity in Yugoslavia.
Nikola Kunac, 49, vanished from Vukovar when the town was captured by Yugoslav and Serbian forces, media reported. Single and without children, Kunac was thought to have been executed like dozens of other Vukovar citizens--until a letter from him arrived in November. It was addressed to a relative who had been killed.
