More than 800 wedding dresses were destroyed after a truck transporting them caught fire in Transylvania, Romania, while en route to Turkey, police said.
The fire occurred Saturday about 250 miles northwest of Bucharest after the brake on one of the back tires jammed, causing the tire to explode.
The truck was transporting the wedding frocks from Germany to Turkey, police spokesman Nicolae Crisan said. Damage was estimated at $204,000.
