Opening Statements Won’t Sway the Court

I get a little misty-eyed watching this year’s U.S. Open knowing that by this time next year a bunch of semi-disabled world class golfers will have crawled out from under their rocks to dominate the PGA tour with the use of electric carts. Gone forever will be the noble sight of millionaires in bad slacks strolling down the fairways with their caddies in tow. It’s the end of an era.
