Panel to Discuss Effect of the Energy Crisis

The effect of the state energy crisis on the county’s low-income residents will be the subject of a meeting Tuesday at the Radisson Hotel in Oxnard.
The Ventura County Commission on Human Concerns is sponsoring the meeting, which will include panel discussions by representatives from the various state utility companies and community organizations.
Timothy Dayonot, director of the California Department of Community Services and Development, will give the keynote speech.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 600 E. Esplanade Drive.
