Drugstore.com Inc. said it will cut 125 jobs, or 23% of its staff, as part of a plan to reduce operating costs by $20 million this year. Cost savings from the job cuts and reductions in marketing expenses will help the Internet drugstore reach its revenue goals for the year, a company spokeswoman said. Bellevue, Wash.-based Drugstore.com said in October it cut 60 jobs, or 10% of its work force. Drugstore.com shares, which are off 96% from their all-time high, rose 16 cents to close at $2.63 on Nasdaq. The announcement came after the close of regular U.S. trading.
