Bowers Official Takes Cal State Fullerton Job

The development director of Bowers Museum of Cultural Art has left to take a similar post at the College of Arts at Cal State Fullerton.
Milly Muzzy, who begins her job this week, came to Bowers in June 1999. She solicited and managed the museum’s corporate and foundation donations, which supported exhibition, education and Kidseum programs.
Grants secured during her tenure include $25,000 from the Samueli Foundation to sponsor the “Holy Land” exhibition; $25,000 from Boeing to create educational guides for the Native American permanent exhibit; and $100,000 from the James Irvine Foundation and $25,000 from the Weingart Foundation, both for Kidseum.
Bowers expects to fill the director of development position in February.
