Odetics Inc., an Anaheim technology and communications company, said Wednesday that its majority-owned subsidiary, Iteris Inc., has won a $13-million prime contract from the Federal Highway Administration.
Odetics said the two-year contract calls on Iteris to provide maintenance and support for the National Intelligent Transportation Systems program, which is aimed at using technology to help solve traffic congestion, safety and productivity problems.
Iteris will work with Lockheed Martin Corp. as its lead partner. The contract has three one-year options that could make it worth $33 million. Lockheed could receive as much as $12 million of that amount.
