From Times Staff and Wire Reports
State officials Thursday changed their stance on the death of a 42-year-old woman who had ridden a spinning attraction at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo.
On Wednesday, a spokesman for the state Department of Occupational Safety and Health, which investigates amusement park accidents, said that although the ride did not malfunction, it may have triggered the woman’s fatal brain hemorrhage. But on Thursday, agency officials said there is no medical information to show a link between the two. No autopsy was performed.
