A key prosecution witness in the Greenwich murder case against Kennedy nephew Michael Skakel has died of an apparent drug overdose, police said.
Gregory Coleman, 39, was found dead in the driveway of a Rochester, N.Y., home, police said. Toxicology tests were being conducted.
Prosecutor Jonathan Benedict said he would prosecute the Skakel case “without batting an eyelash.” He said he would submit for evidence a transcript of Coleman’s testimony from pretrial hearings.
