Workers Say Company Ignored Hate Campaign

Former and current workers at an East Bay dairy have accused it of failing to protect them from a workplace hate campaign by fellow employees who allegedly hung nooses and scrawled Confederate flags, swastikas and Ku Klux Klan graffiti.
Dean Foods of California in San Leandro either ignored the complaints or dismissed them as trivial, according to the discrimination complaint filed July 25 in Alameda County Superior Court on behalf of six black workers and one Latino.
The suit demands unspecified monetary damages.
