O.C. Moneymakers: Three Orange County high school students won $2,500 each in the Performing Arts Center of L.A. County’s 13th annual Spotlight Awards ceremony Tuesday at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. Rising above more than 800 teenage applicants were Aria Alekzander, 14, of Anaheim (ballet), soprano Andrea Dodson, 17, of La Habra (classical voice) and Patrick James McCollum, 17, of Yorba Linda (jazz modern dance). The three placed second from among 12 finalists in six categories. First-place winners received $5,000 each.
