Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a man who was found underneath the San Clemente Pier early Friday morning.
A passerby alerted authorities at 5:05 a.m. after discovering Laguna Hills resident William McCraney, 45, lying unconscious.
Authorities pronounced McCraney dead at the scene. The Orange County coroner is investigating the cause of death.
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 22851 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo. Information: (949) 580-1908.
