Rebels Find Going Tough in Pasadena

Flintridge Prep, which was averaging 410 yards a game, was held to 110 and was beaten by Pasadena Poly, 17-6, in a Prep League football game Saturday at Pasadena Poly.
Omar Dittu was held to a season-low 42 yards in 16 carries for Flintridge Prep (4-3, 1-1 in league play). He entered the game with 1,300 yards rushing and the Rebels were averaging about 371 yards rushing.
The Rebels scored on a 94-yard return by Antonio Harrison on the game’s opening kickoff.
Pasadena Poly (6-0, 2-0), ranked No. 2 in Southern Section Division XIII, finished with 197 yards.
The Panthers, who won the Division XIII title last season, were led by Mike Caldwell with 110 yards and a touchdown in 23 carries.
It marked the fourth time since 1998 that Pasadena Poly has defeated the Rebels. The Panthers defeated Flintridge Prep in the division semifinals last season.
