* The U.S. Treasury estimated it will retire a record amount of its debt in financial markets during the current quarter as the result of rising tax revenue generated by an economy now in the 10th year of expansion. The Treasury said it will retire a net $185 billion in debt in financial markets during the April-June quarter, assuming a June 30 cash balance of $50 billion.
