City officials joined mayors and council members from across the country this week at the National League of Cities conference in Washington.

Mayor Bev Perry, Assistant City Manager Tim O’Donnell, and Councilmen Roy Moore and Marty Simonoff spent Monday and Tuesday meeting with Capitol Hill lawmakers--from Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) to all 13 members of the Senate Interior Appropriations Committee--in hopes of picking up some federal funds for use at home.
