Kelly Runs Record to 13-0 for Fullerton Softball Team

Former Brea Olinda High standout Erin Kelly improved to 13-0, giving up three hits and one run for host Fullerton, which beat Orange Coast, 2-1, in Orange Empire Conference softball Tuesday.
Lisa Schiro had two hits for the Hornets (20-5, 5-0). Orange Coast fell to 12-9, 1-4.
In other conference games:
Saddleback 8, Riverside 2--Jen Carlisle had a career-high 10 strikeouts and improved to 3-0. She also had two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs.
In Orange Empire Conference baseball:
Cypress 11, Fullerton 3--Garrett Estabrook allowed four hits and one run through seven innings to win his third game of the season for Cypress (14-2, 2-2). Ben Francisco had three hits, two RBIs and two runs for the host Chargers.
Santa Ana 7, Golden West 4--All nine starters for Santa Ana (14-1-2, 3-1-1) had base hits, and five contributed two apiece.
Tony Alcantar and Tony Calderon had two RBIs each, Calderon hitting a two-run home run in the seventh to put the Dons up, 5-4.
In Orange Empire Conference men’s golf:
Golden West 383, Santa Ana 384, Saddleback 389, Cypress 406--Golden West’s top five players broke 80 at Navy Golf Course, led by Jeff Greenfield, who shot two-over 74. Dave Lauder shot 70 for Santa Ana.
