The Yorba Linda City Council will hold a special meeting at noon today to award a $550,000 contract to R.J. Noble to build a parking lot and access roads for the Black Gold Golf Course planned at the base of Chino Hills. Noble was the lowest bidder. Council members will also open bidding for construction of the golf course clubhouse and maintenance facility. Tuesday’s council meeting has been canceled because of the holiday. The next meeting will be held July 18 at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7150.
