Drug Bust Results in Court-Martial for 3

Three Marines who provide security at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., will face drug charges in a special court-martial after an investigation into use of the mood-altering drug Ecstasy at the installation, officials said. The names of the Marines are being withheld until the proceedings are finished, said a statement released by the Marine Barracks in Washington. Officials said they will be charged with possession and use of a controlled substance. No date has been set for the special court-martial. The statement did not mention Ecstasy, but officials confirmed earlier this month that drug use had been detected at the academy.
