The depth of the Cleveland boys’ basketball team is diminishing rapidly.
Senior Larry Knox and junior David Franklin have left the team, Coach Adam Levitt said.
Knox, a 6-3 starting forward who is averaging eight points a game, was benched when the Cavaliers beat Granada Hills Friday because he missed practice the day before.
Knox, who was angered by the disciplinary action, never returned to practice this week.
Franklin, a 6-1 reserve guard who transferred from Canoga Park last spring, is transferring.
